Futbol Coach AI is committed to protecting the privacy of children under 13 and complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq., and the FTC's implementing regulations, 16 CFR Part 312.

Our Commitment to Child Safety

Futbol Coach AI is specifically designed for youth soccer coaches and inherently involves the collection of information about children under 13. We take this responsibility seriously and have implemented comprehensive safeguards:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent
• We do not use player information for targeted advertising or behavioral profiling
• We do not sell, rent, or share player data with third parties
• We do not use player data for any purpose other than providing coaching services
• We do not condition participation in activities on the collection of more personal information than is reasonably necessary

Parental Consent & Notification

When coaches use Futbol Coach AI to track player information (including players under 13), they represent and warrant that they have obtained appropriate parental consent. Coaches are responsible for:

• Obtaining verifiable parental consent before collecting player information
• Notifying parents about what information is collected and how it is used
• Providing parents with access to their child's information
• Allowing parents to request deletion of their child's data
• Maintaining records of parental consent

Types of Information Collected

Futbol Coach AI collects the following information about players (which may include children under 13):

• Player name and jersey number
• Player position and age group
• Minutes played and substitution history
• Performance notes and coaching annotations
• Match statistics and game data

We do NOT collect:

• Home addresses or phone numbers of players
• Social media accounts or usernames
• Photos or video of players (unless explicitly uploaded by coach)
• Health information beyond basic conditioning notes
• Geolocation data
• Persistent identifiers for tracking across apps

How We Use Player Information

Player information is used solely for the following purposes:

• Providing AI-powered coaching recommendations
• Tracking fair playtime and substitution patterns
• Generating match reports and performance analytics
• Improving app functionality and coaching accuracy
• Complying with legal obligations

We do NOT use player information for:

• Targeted advertising or marketing
• Behavioral profiling or tracking
• Selling or sharing with third parties
• Any commercial purpose beyond providing coaching services

Data Security & Protection

We implement comprehensive security measures to protect player information:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
• Secure authentication and access controls
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Limited employee access to player data
• Incident response procedures for data breaches
• Compliance with industry security standards

Parental Rights & Access

Parents have the following rights regarding their child's information:

• Right to Access: Request to see all information collected about their child
• Right to Modify: Request corrections or updates to their child's information
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of their child's information
• Right to Refuse: Refuse to allow further collection or use of their child's information
• Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of optional data collection features

Data Retention & Deletion

Local Storage: Player data stored on a coach's device remains there until manually deleted.

Cloud Storage: If using cloud backup, data is retained for as long as the account is active. Upon account deletion or parental request, all player data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Backup Copies: Deleted data may persist in backup copies for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.

Third-Party Services

Futbol Coach AI may use third-party service providers to assist in app operation. These providers:

• Are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality
• Are prohibited from using player data for any purpose other than providing services to us
• Are prohibited from sharing player data with other parties
• Are subject to our data protection requirements

We do not allow third parties to collect or use player information for their own purposes.

No Behavioral Advertising

Futbol Coach AI does not engage in behavioral advertising or use player information to create behavioral profiles. We do not use player data to target advertisements or create marketing profiles. The app contains no third-party advertising networks that collect or use player information.

Compliance & Enforcement

Futbol Coach AI complies with COPPA and the FTC's implementing regulations. We:

• Maintain a comprehensive privacy policy
• Provide notice to parents about our information practices
• Obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting information
• Provide parents access to their child's information
• Allow parents to request deletion of information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of information
• Retain information only as long as necessary
• Do not condition participation on collection of unnecessary information
